For the 8-12 year old church girls in our ward, I did an amateur demonstration on cake decorating. My oven was doing some serious overtime for a few days, and I was up to my eyeballs in cakes and hu-mon-go bowls of frosting! We had plenty of leftovers, so my dudes were excited to get in on the action too. Here they are covering their cakes with original drawings of ants and war scenes, all in pastel colors mind you. Did you ever imagine cake decorating could be so manly?

PS I love the Christmas pics over the years, it is fun to see how everyone grows up and changes. very cute.
