PARADE!

It was a Battle of the Bands - lots of local schools came together to play in a parade for all of us screaming fans. The kids collected tons(and I mean tons) of candy. We liked the silly clowns too. They were shooting a dummy out of a cannon, and riding all sorts of mini-vehicles around. Wouldn't want to meet a clown in a dark alley, but they are fun to watch in a parade! After about an hour and a half, the sun was too much to handle. Mid-90's and hot pavement - Ew. We brought umbrellas to shade us, and thank goodness for that! Here's the only picture taken, thanks for snapping it B! Next up: Dozer Day - See below.

Aren't parades fun?! Dozer Days? Hmmmm, thats one I've never heard of. Kind of scary that they let the kids drive. But looks like they had fun!

makes me homesick for the parade in my hometown! by the way, no tempting me into more kids--i swear there are no girl genes to be had from my hubby ;). thanks for your nice comment on my blog--this is seriously soooo fun to hear about you all!
