Our activity and treat for Family Night was a throwback to my childhood. My mom had us make these edible bird nests when we were young. So yummy, and super neat-looking. We made them to celebrate Spring and our new backyard residents. In one of our trees, Braden placed a birdhouse that he made 2 weeks ago in scouts. He came screaming into the house this past Saturday to report that there were 6 eggs housed inside of it. He could barely breathe he was so excited. We were surprised, since he nailed a few pieces on backwards. There wasn't supposed to be an opening near the top. Some little birdie liked it anyways and is enjoying her new digs!
