Thank you garden!

In year's past, the squirrels have ruined every ear of corn produced from our garden. That is, the ones remaining after the rabbits had their way with chewing the stalks down to nubs near cornstalk infancy. The squirrels would climb the stalks, peel the husks back, and have a nibbling feast with all their closest comrades. Not this year! If these are the only two we will enjoy, I consider the hours spent planting and weeding, plus the gallons and gallons of water spent on these beauties a success! (In feel-good terms, not financial.)
