Festival of Trees

I took part in a holiday bazaar at the kids' school this morning. Items for sale included several handmade things I spent way too much time on, and some painted crafts my mom was ready to part with. Sold some, and put some that didn't sell in an Etsy shop (see to the left of my blog!) The pictures are of the table I had set up. The school gym was full of kids crafts, a gift-wrapping station, vendor booths, goodies, a choir, and pictures with Santa. I encouraged the kids to go get their picture taken with Santa. They didn't seem interested, so I didn't press it. When asked later why they didn't want a picture, Kyle tells me: "Mom, it wasn't the real Santa and besides, some of them have really bad breath. The Santa last year smelled like rotten cheese and hamburgers."
Allrighty then!

So, what does the real Santa smell like then? Cookies and milk maybe? Kids are funny.

That is hilarious! I have to say, I don't blame them. Sounds like they were tramatized one year.

Hope you did well at the craft fair!
